Oh, good point! Kieren’s solution (in this email <https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/lilypond-user/2025-10/msg00143.html>) had \general-align, so I have been using it, but it seems eliminating it fixes the Y-alignment issue. @Kieren, if I am overlooking a reason to stick with the command, please let me know.
