It would take me some time to figure out which lyrics belong to which
part. I'm not sure why you set the first two bars in the manner of
American hymn books, and the rest of it in that of English ones, and
particularly the omission of the second part's f4. in measure 8.
In the original edition of im André Arnesens Magnificat (we are waiting
a few months already for the paid-for parts to arrive from the USA to
the Netherlands...) the f4. only has stem-up, so I didn't write it in
the second part. But when one doesn't take that into account, combining
the two \VoiceOne/VoiceTwo constructs to one, placing o the text goes
well. With \consists Merge_rests_engraver (Michael Gerdau pointed me
to) it is fine.
I have no idea what the diffenrence is between American hymn books and
English ones, wasn't aware of those two styles...

I would write it as two parts, converging at measure 13. (There are
a few other adjustments I would typically make, particularly if the
rhythms of the parts diverged at all.)
