I meant the description of lilypond's behaviour w.r.t. formatting a
page. IMHO, those subtle details (which will probably change in the
future, as Joe indicates) can help users understand what's going on.
It will reduce bug reports sent to us.
Due to time constraints I wasn't able to read the new documentation at
all (you are a hero, BTW, for investing so much time into this!), thus
I can't suggest a possible location for inclusion. Maybe it's not
necessary at all since lilypond's layout process is already documented
in detail.
