questions!
- how to notate a halfnote-thrill and wholenote-thrill in lilypond?
- how many strings can a harpist pluck with 1 hand?
- what's the correct way to visually pair e.g. the 1st and 2nd violins in
an orchestral score? Using { or using [ ? I've seen both types being used
everywhere.
- what's officially the lowest note of a 5-string double bass? B0 or C1 ? I
tend to think it's a matter of tuning the lowest string. Following the
generic tuning intervals, B0 would be the most logical one, but often
enough I see books stating C1 being the lowest.
