Here is the tweak.
\tweak #'font-size #+12.70 apparently you must leave out the = sign that is typical of the override construct. also a word of caution, by in large lilypond's default habits are excellent typesetting practice, when you change something other than a clashing position problem it is best to ask if you are being idiosyncratic in doing so. Of course it is not yet a perfect program, but it is constantly being improved.
