I think we can discuss this point for hours. If you prefer screen 
shots to a demo, use them (=to each his own). Or pre-record a demo using 
the tool Alon mentioned.

The point of "linux as a desktop" as I see it 
is to asure the listeners that linux 
can do it, since they may have heard otherwise. After all, I still don't 
have a functional Hebrew office on mine. This would not have happened had 
I had  Windows: When I install Windows I spend a couple more minutes and 
stick the Office CD In. 

It comes to answer the question: I got my camera with a cd for windows. 
what do i do now in Linux? can it be done?
