Here is what I would like to ask you for: 1. Manual update of the card engineering status - every 2 weeks While the connection of cards to blueprints is still ongoing (related to s.l.o work) there has to be a manual update of the status for the cards. How to do this: edit a card, and update the "Engineering status update" field, with a concise comment indicating what is the ongoing status, any blocking issues, and the confidence that the card will be done before Connect@HongKong. You should summarise the work in progress instead of adding links to blueprints. Frequency of updates: every 2nd Wednesday, starting from next week (02May). It means that by Wednesday EOB all the status updates are in place. I would like these updates for all cards which are actively being worked upon, even if they are in Drafting state. If a card is not started simply note that in the engineering status update field and you are done until the work starts. 2. Cards marked as DONE or DEFERRED should have a proper closeout section. A template for the closeouts should be as follows * In the case of DONE: - How did you meet the acceptance criteria? What did you deliver? - How did you validate? - How would you showcase this work? - What went well? What didn't go well? What could we improve? * In the case of DEFERRED: - Why is the card deferred? Superseded by other cards, or is it obsolete due to other changes? Was there something delivered? What? - Was there any validation done for any deliverables? - Would the card need to be revisited for a new decision in the future? What should trigger such a review? - What went well? What didn't go well? What could we improve? Please check your DONE/DEFERRED cards and update the closeouts accordingly, by the end of this week. As a closing remark: I have been preparing some wiki documentation for the usage of JIRA for the roadmap process. I expect the first draft out for your review by tomorrow latest.
