Aahh yes, the Alpha 21164PC chips. Nice suckers and are priced to compete
with Intel PII chips. DEC screwed up royally selling their plants to
Intel.

Last time I heard, Linux was on the very short list on Unix platforms for
IE. Solaris, Linux, Digital Unix, and I think FreeBSD was on the list but
I can't be sure.

I know. I know. But I honestly think if we stop talking about it and start
doing something about it, we can get very good and very impressive graphics
programs on Linux. I'd love to contact Amiga graphic program makers and
see if I can get a few of them to port their programs to Linux. I know
with GW2K and AI starting to gain power, it'll be a lot harder, but I think
it can be done.
