theres sced, moray, amapi. i like sced. its simple and works well, but you
kinda got to get used to it. 

by far, the best modeller i ve ever used (supposedly the best one is alias
studio) is rhino, which is a downloadable bet at http://wwww.rhino3d.com
but you need the evil partition to run it ;-)
