As far as I could try, Ceres as well Slab do full duplex only whit 2.1
kernels. Even the most recent 2.0 kernels say "no" :-(

No, I use Slab with 2.1.82 kernel and like it. It's pretty powerful and can do
relly professional work. But it's not an easy piece of software. Most of the
stuff is a counterpart of pro studio mixers and effet racks. So, if you get
used of them, you like Slab. If you never messed in a studio, Slab is a very
hard way.

Buying commercial grade OSS could be a solution. If you don't like messing
with 2.1 kernels...
