Yeah, we definitely need more posters. The same 5-6 people who post now are
the same who posted back when the list began.

Your reasoning here is good, too. Does anyone else have any thoughts on

Maybe we should see if slashdot would be willing to print a line or two
about the list... we do need more posters; there _has_ to be people out
there who fit the linart mold; when I started the list it was my belief (and
still is) that the future of both art & computing are tied together, and
that free software will play an important role in this. But what I've
learned from linart is that a community can't always be built by just making
a mailing list.

I'm redesigning dsl.org and will put up a section for linart at
dsl.org/linart/ (it's not there yet) ... maybe the faq could be written with
something like sgml-tools so that we'll have html, text and hardcopy
versions? And what do you all think should go in the faq? Here are some of
the obvious ones:

subscribe/unsubscribe info
archive address
