Would it be off-topic to ask what thoughts people have on licensing the art
they make?

Have you given thought to whether you'd use the license at
http://www.opencontent.org/ ? It lets anybody use, modify, and incorporate
your work into theirs, as long as they update a "change log" and pass on
their version under the same terms.

I want to take advantage of this "bazaar" method of development that
Linux's emergence has put a spotlight on, in order to maximize cultural
evolution, and enable more people to add to the soup by just modifying my
ingredients, my "code" (MIDI files, lyrics, graphics, themes, collections
of images and phrases from favorite cultures, photos of my  city, etc.).

So there's some thinking to be done by "open source artists" about the
licensing issues.  Anybody doing some of that?
