So, before explaining what i am looking for, i better tell a few words
about myself.

Until last july, i was a developer in the jMax team in Ircam, that became
free software a few days before i left.

Currently i am a developer chez Mandrakesoft, the distributor of Linux-Mandrake;
but no arts here, i just develop (nice :) software.

Between other things, i co-authored a subject for a documentary on free software
and linux; within this frame (and so nothing to do with Mandrakesoft), i am looking
for free software artists that:

1- Use free software for their artistic works

2- Work very tigthly with the software community, either at the artistic level
   or at the technical/infrastructure level.

3- Have a strong visual aspect in what they do (you know, it is not so
   easy to film music :).

The point is to explain how the "community" work, by using an example that is easier
to follow for the non technical, but anyway cultivated, public.

Anybody can help me ?

Maurizio
