Dear Tamika and LincolnTalk, After flushing and a little time, the Water Superintendent expects this sulfa smell to dissipate pretty quickly. Please do let us know if this is not the case, though, as in that eventuality the Superintendent says we will try to do some more flushing of pipes in the area. Evidently there is a biofilm in the pipes that can oxidize when exposed to air and this is likely the cause of the odor.
