We do already have, or “had,” some “engineered” intergenerational activities and perhaps we need more.
Think about “First Day” at Pierce House, the pancake breakfast during Winter Carnival, the April Alarm and Muster, the 4th of July and the Boy Scouts BBque after, The Codman Farm Harvest Day…. There used to be a Lincoln Day at DeCordova. Maybe the Celebrations Committee could resurface to plan more. A building will not a community make-it can help, but it is not required.
