The CC, by all reports, is designed to separate generation/ ages in programming.

Note all the programming charts presented by COA-HS & PRD.

The use is to be multi- generational, not inter-generational… as proposed.

Inter-general events are those I listed.
We need more!

I think it is useful to differentiate "planned activities" that bring multiple generations together and spaces that are designed to bring them together for a variety of reasons.

We do already have, or “had,”  some “engineered” intergenerational activities and perhaps we need more.

Think about “First Day” at Pierce House, the pancake breakfast during Winter Carnival, the April Alarm and Muster, the 4th of July and the Boy Scouts BBque after,  The Codman Farm Harvest Day….
There used to be a Lincoln Day at DeCordova.

Maybe the Celebrations Committee could resurface to plan more.

A building will not a community make-it can help, but it is not required.
