As many of you are aware, our State Senator Mike Barrett is the singular leader in the Legislature on matters of climate change. The new two year session of the Legislature has just begun, and the issues of alternative energy production, transmission and distribution, as well as the role of natural and working lands (like our open space and farms) in climate mitigation will be prominent in discussions on Beacon Hill.
