Yup-I am an old hippie who swore by the original Whole Earth Catalog, built a
house into a sloped facing S/SW (awning to shade in the summer) cooked from
Diet for a Small Planet, baked all our bread, composted and reused everything.
So, here I am today-all those things served me well.
And, now modern conservation technology (very expensive, I might add) is
thwarting my abilities to continue my old-school ways and enjoy the warmth of
the sun!
