RIch, We regularly use Italy’s train network-a wonderful experience…just did this past Oct. Very frequent trains, in both in the cities and across the country. They are impeccably clean and run on time. You can get anywhere on either high speed or local trains.
It is infuriating to see the lack of progress in this country, and to add insult to injury, we continue to turn existing rails into recreational trails!
