Power washing can be great (and really satisfying) on non-painted surfaces. One low-cost alternative is Wet-and-Forget: https://www.wetandforget.com/wet-and-forget-hose-end.html. It comes as a hose attachment that increases pressure so it’ll reach the top of your roof or wherever you need. You just spray the affected area, and after a few days, the mold (or any moss or lichen on your roof) will just disappear. It did a great job on my place!
