I second the reommendations.  Mr. Chang – I think that is his name but I may be 
wrong – has cleaned or laundered many “specialty” items for me, from down 
comforters to Navajo rugs.  And I’ve also used him for zipper repair.  And as 
you say, if he doesn’t like the result of a cleaning, he’ll send the item back 
for another try.   Garments that I thought were hopeless stained have come back 
spotless.  When he moved from the corner (where Clark Gallery is now) down the 
alley to his present location, I was worried that he might lose business.  I 
don’t know how he is doing, but I certainly take all of my cleaning there.

Lynn, I also use Lincoln Town Cleaner tucked away behind the Clark gallery. The 
owner is very knowledgeable about fabric. He will tell you if an item can be 
machine washed instead of dry cleaned and provide specific  instructions. He 
also does repairs including zippers. And he’s honest.  He once cleaned 
something for me and didn’t like the result and didn’t charge me.
