Captain Mardens has the best live lobsters to cook at home and they are
expensive but well worth it.

Another restaurant that is smaller, less expensive than Summer Shack, and very
busy is Captain Mardens in Wellesley.

Great for lobster and all seafood. May need a reservation.

And if you do not have a large lobster pot, they can easily be microwaved in a
gallon sized ziplock bag.

I learned that years ago from a TV program in which Roger Berkowitz of Legal
Seafood revealed that was his preferred method for cooking a few lobsters at
home. Also advocated by Jasper White and Julia Child.

Yes I was about to say the same thing. You can also boil them yourself at home.
Super easy.

Hi Ursula,
Since you mentioned “reasonably price”… are you aware that Market Basket sells
fresh lobsters somewhere around $7 or $8 per pound and they will steam them for
you?
Otherwise, I second the other recommendation for Twin Seafood in West Concord.
Enjoy!
