The Transportation Coalition, the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory
Committee, Roadside and Traffic, and town officials all receive a
continuous stream of infrastructure requests from residents, the majority
of them having to do with bicycle or pedestrian safety or both. I think the
current running list has north of 50 items on it. The public forum and
survey were designed to help residents understand the infrastructure
planning process (short summary: it's slow) and to refine our understanding
of residents' priorities.

The Transportation Coalition public forum last week provided some
additional context. You can view the presentation here: TC Forum
