Here is what I get when I plug in my PODxt Pro:

18.12.2012 18:45:45 mark kernel [ 2174.648034] usb 2-2: new full-speed
USB
device number 3 using ohci_hcd

PODxt Pro found
18.12.2012 18:45:45 mark kernel [ 2174.874705] line6usb 2-2:1.0: Line6
PODxt Pro now attached

On my system, the ohci_hcd driver is used instead of uhci_hcd on yours, but
that shouldn't make any difference. Interestingly, even before entering the
line6usb module, the kernel reports some details about the device (lines
containing "usb 2-2:"), which is not the case in your log file. Do you get
similar messages ("New USB device found" etc.) when you plug in other USB
devices?

        Kind regards,
                Markus
