The issue turned out to be the audio codec that Sorenson Squeeze was 
using. I ended up extracting the audio and playing it separately. 
Everything works fine now. When I get a chance to breath, I'll do some 
more testing to find out whether it was ALL of the available audio 
codecs, or just the 2 or 3 that I tested with.

And, yes I know 818x694 is an odd size (but it had nothing to do with my 
masking problems).

-notice if you turn off the audio ("play every frame") the mask will 
work fine.

I'm still not 100% convinced the client will be willing to use 
QuickTime- in which case I'll have to re-render them all as AVI's and 
use something like Penwork's VideoSprite. Has anybody used this xtra? 
Performance compared to QT when masked?
