This is based on what?
I don't claim to be making factual statements based on anything - this is merely me expressing an opinion I have formulated from both mine and the Director communiy's increasing disappointment at the lacklustre releases of Director these past versions. Just feels to me like Macromedia themselves are winding it down, and if I were Mr. Adobe why would I want to spend a large chunk of money maintaining something my new acquisition themselves has lost interest in?
I'll be careful to properly cite my sources and note my every thought in the future...
