My project is an Enhanced CD (audio and hybrid). The client wants me to suppress the reading of the audio portion of the disc when it's inserted in a computer (many machines are set up to automatically play Audio CDs with iTunes or RealPlayer or somesuch). I'm of the opinion that I have no control over that.

Any code I write would have to wait until it's run by the user which is way too late to stop the Audio app from opening. I could maybe do something with AutoStart, but that's disabled by default on modern machines. And anyway, using an autostarted program to kill one of the user's other processes seems a bit... um... rude.

Or is there something I _can_ do?
