I have been trying to work with DVD video. But I am having trouble with file pathnames.
It is not nearly as easy to have video stored in a folder and reference it. Director always wants to look for a DVD in my drive and often it is not happy when it does not find it and quits.
Does anybody know how reliable the DVD Video works and easier ways to use DVD video - especially by linking to multiple clips that I can call from a main menu (and keep in a dswmedia folder).
Is it better to call DVD via Lingo, rather than pathnames in the cast member file pathnames?
Anybody know any good reference material where I can get more info? The help and web are spotty for anything more than basic info.
