Has anybody had any dealings with anybody like Bowne Global Solutions or Lion Bridge?
There's another really good program called "System Commander" that handles multiple-OS boots on Windows. I agree with Jakob--it's easier on the Mac, but you gotta do it on Windows too. For multi-byte languages (Japanese, Chinese, and Korean), you can use Japanese Director on the relevant OS. Create a Chinese projector with Japanese Director & Chinese Windows, and it works fine. Probably with the new Korean Director too, but I haven't tried that. Irena knows this, but it's a common misconception that Russian is a double-byte language. It isn't. It's a single-byte language--the spec is ISO 8859.5. On Windows, Russian uses code page 1251, while Director is pretty much built around code page 1252. The best solution to displaying Russian in Director may be to create a new font that uses code page 1252, with the ISO 8859.5 encoding.
