IF you are ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that these 'cast members not used in the score or stage' are not being referenced anywhere by Lingo, then you can use an option within the Find Cast Member dialog.
select Edit > Find > Cast Member select the Usage (Not used In Score) radio button select one of the members found (this enables the Select & Select All buttons (a workaround for a bug)) press the Select All button & all the unused members will be selected then select Clear from the Edit menu or use the Delete key to get rid if them. hth -Buzz At 7:15 PM -0500 4/1/02, you wrote: >Hi list, > >May I know this? > >One way to keep my .dir file compact is to remove cast members not >used in the score / stage from the internal cast. > >I know that you can manually remove it by clicking on the cast >member and pressing the 'delete' key.
