It works for almost anything.  There are a few things which don't accept it, like 
FileIO.
But that's the exception, not the rule.

For linked cast members, sure... for building dynamic paths with lingo, I
don't think "@" works, making "the moviePath" somewhat less than obsolete. I
could be wrong, however.
