Personally I'd recommend adding the methods needed to the Flash file. 
Well begun is half done, etc. What I mean by that is it's better to 
do the job right if at all possible than it is to try to do a 
workaround or hack.

Otherwise I suppose you could try leaving the frame entirely, then 
going back to it -- that should force the Flash sprite to reload.
