Hi people, time to get creative here. Why not open a new browser window (using
gotoNetPage and specifying a different window name altogether) with your "MIAW" movie
embedded in that page and then communicate between the two movies using the Multiuser
Xtra?

Using the Xtra you can have your "main" movie act as a peer-to-peer host and the MIAW
movies can then connect to that host and therefore easily communicate between the
windows. This doesn't require the server in any way, all communication stays local
between the DCRs running on the client's machine.

Yes, this requires code tweaking and learning a little about the Multiuser Xtra but
hey, it gives you everything you're asking for.

-instead of opening a MIAW you spawn the movie in another browser window
-instead of sharing globals and/or using tell statements, use the Multiuser Xtra and a
peer-to-peer connection to allow the movies to "talk"

Of course this does "limit" you to 16 "MIAWs" as the peer-to-peer connection mode only
allows 16 simultaneous connections. But I bet you'll be content with that limit, right?

The truth is out there... :)

Cheers,
Tom
