Have you looked at Discreet's latest release, Plasma?

One helluva tool for $650. All the things from Max that do export, none of the things 
that don't. Native support for W3D or SWF export. Simpler layout that's not so 
confusing. I doubt I'll open 3DSMax again... Ooooh, and Havok is easy to use too!
