You don't need to use a CD image to burn a hybrid CD. Use Toast or something similar on the Mac and it's easy to create a longer CD name. I'm not sure what the maximum length is, though. As far as Win95 truncating the CD name... ISO (Windows/PC) CDs' names are always only 8 characters. Recently a system of extensions called Joliet has become the standard that allows Windows to display the 8 character names as longer names; even though they appear longer, they are technically still 8 characters. Evidently Windows 95 doesn't support Joliet extensions, and thus gives you the technical name. If you want to support legacy systems, you'll have to shorten your CD name.
