I have had excellent results using the "on cuePassed" handler - with 
sounds played as external files.  The typical way I have used it is 
to wait on a frame until the on cuePassed is called, then move to the 
next frame in the score.

While I didn't prepare the sound files, I believe that in both cases 
where I have used these types of cuepoints, they were inserted using 
SoundEdit16 on a Mac.

What exactly do you do in your program when you get a cue point?  Are 
you staying on the same frame and highlighting something based on the 
cue point information, or could you set it up to just move to a new 
frame?
