1) Although this isn't the cause of your problem, you don't have to change from DCR to DXR with a regular projector. A regular projector can play .DCR just fine. Plus, being compressed, they're smaller and harder to penetrate too. 2) The Shockwave player has its own set of Xtras under the player plugin, and that includes presumably support for Flash. If you're distributing your own projector now, it's entirely possible that you're failing to include the Flash Asset Xtra when you make your projector.
