Hi,
can you give me a hint how to use fX3's folderToList. I only get the "" in the
message window. All the images in the folder are in jpeg-format.
Here the code I use when I get the ".DS_Store"-problem.

on getImageList
gImageList = []
repeat with i = 1 to 255
filename = getNthFileNameinFolder(gImageFolder,i)
if filename = "" then exit repeat
add gImageList, filename
end repeat
end

on showImage
member("Image").filename = gImageFolder & gImageList[gImageNum]
end

(put gImageList
-- [".DS_Store", "grand_hotel.jpg", "hilton.jpg", "referens.jpg"])

Hi,

I show the images the invisible ".DS_Store"-file also come up. I use MacOsX
and Dir.8.0 in Classic mode.
How can I get around this invisible file problem?

It sounds like you are using fX3's 'folderToList' to get back a folder's contents using 'folderToList'.

you can use fX3's 'fx_FileGetType' to then verify each file type & clean out the list before using each filename.
