Hi I'm using the V12 Database Xtra to perform some searches through text. I'm interested in adding a Boolean AND/OR/NOT capabilities to the advanced search. I've found this INM technote:
http://tinyurl.com/89b8 Which shows how to do two of the boolean queries, but not NOT. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? My instinct is to create two lists of results: 1) of the search results ignoring the NOT component 2) of the search results that the NOT component returns Then go through list 1 and knock out that also appear in list 2. Anyone got any advice or suggestions? It seems unlikely that no-one has done this before...
