In Pranav's notation there are only 2 possible places to insert an (�)
I guess I imagined it then. The JPEG looks like there's something between the quotes, more of a " " than a "". I can't exactly match the font or size, but screen shooting it and comparing what I can type still makes it seem like there's a gap, but not as wide as a regular space.
