Have you tried putting the Director dll's into the projector folder? I
think the ones you want are dirapi.dll and mscvrt.dll, maybe Iml32.dll.

Sometimes if there's another version of these dll's hanging around--for
example, in the Windows folder--the projector will use the wrong one. As
a matter of course, I always install them, because a Windows app will
look for its dll's in the app folder first.
