Recentely i had the same problem with embedded fonts, they appear as ragged when you use it, especially if you use color, but just changing the antialiasing of the fonts in the property inspector to a really tiny size did the trick in most cases. Somnetimes what i had to do was use background transparent ink and it too worked fine (this particularly with colored fonts). This may be one approach, since as Slava told, you may encounter a permission problem.
