Thanks...but actually in my case, the movie isn't next to the cast.  :-)

I'll just have to write something weird to do it.

> If the cast happens to be next to the movie, you end up with the same 
as the moviepath. The general solution of getting the folder path 
from a file path, would be this:

oldid = the itemdelimiter
the itemdelimiter = the last char of the moviepath
delete the last item of filepath
folderpath = filepath & the itemdelimiter
the itemdelimiter = oldid

That would work cross platform.
