Emre

All I can say is ... Roll-up your sleeves and dig into binary mate!
It's nothing clever, just find the texture header, parse backwards to
get the image name, parse forward to get the image content and then save
it onto the hard drive...
Altogether it's 88 lines...maybe if you can find the crack for it... we
will all benefit!?:)

Just f**** ask for what you need ...how can you request code and judge
by what's...not free...free...and free with a B.J.!? We all live from
the same code for Christ sake!

Anyway... I've got so much bollox from this W3D Xtractor so I've decided
to after exactly 2308 downloads to put a price on it...only 300,000.94
(costs more in US $) for a full version or...the demo + official
crack...(the 4000 pages manual is only 9.95 + postage and packing)

Sorry dudes and dudesses for the attitude but my mum told me long time
ago I was too impulsive anyway:)

Well..before I get banned from this forum:

1. Valentin...your Shell Xtra is no-good although it's free...but...the
source is not open...I want to learn how!
2. New topic..and I am not the one to start it! The question is: How can
you import a jpeg into an external lib in run-time without Director
unpacking it? i.e. importThisJpg(jpegPathOnly3K.jpg) and the end result
is not a cast member of 2mb? The answer is in the "SY_mprtXtra" that is
not released yet and judging by the above will either...never be
released or will cost so much that someone will have to keep me drunk
for years to come until my hard drive get's nicked ... F*****g ask for
it!
3. Question I quote: "From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Emre Eldemir"
.... What is that all about? The .."On Behalf Of"!? Who is Emre?

Cheerio

extract from W3D.

You can use my W3D Xtractor, it's free.

http://www.synchronik.com/lingo/downloads/

It doesn't support alpha channels (if any) but it will still extract the
texture as a jpeg.

Hope it helps and everybody is welcome to use it and my Tooltip
Xtra...feedback/comments welcome

Hello,

I want to extract textures directly from a W3D to cast member.

Thanks,
