Hurm.
When I specifically asked about the XML Parser at the MMUG Live Breeze thing, I thought the answer was 'no, but...'
I guess I was completely wrong: http://www.macromedia.com/support/director/ts/documents/xml_mem_leak.htm "Note: This issue has been resolved in Director MX 2004. (Ref. 125395, 125394)"
My bad. Apologies to all. I guess that .sig isn't so funny, anymore. (Though I don't have any clear idea when I'll actually be using MX2004...I work on too many legacy projects and don't see many clients willing to pay for syntax changes any time soon.)
