You might look into Crestron (www.crestron.com) for a pro-level control system. You can connect to the crestron system via serial interface or COM object.
Very powerful. Another option is AMX (www.amx.com). And another yet: PremiseSystems (www.premisesystems.com) This one's geared more towards home applications, but it would certainly do what you need. All of these are designed to control & sync lots of different devices.
