Hi Kerry

If you really get stuck you could drop James K a line over at the
mothership, apparantly he has the info on getting better support out of
Verisign.. you know the secret handshake and slap on the old back :).
Seriously, if you need to, he did mention it on the Xtra developer's list
that he does know who to contact over there to help get things straightened
out.

In a worse case senerio, you might just set the file to something extremely
small perhaps even convert it to an empty text file or something by
overwritting it. At least that way, it will be small enough not to choke up
the entire endusers harddrive, but then again, how do you take care of it if
they crash and burn out on your program.. guess you do the house keeping on
the next session. I don't know.. just a couple of ideas.

Sincerely

Mark

Ah, thanks, Roy. Mystery cleared up.

I hear there is a real problem getting Verisign certificates now, though. I
don't think fileIO is safe, and without the Verisign certificate, it's
going to be tough to knock out a quick Xtra to delete that file when I'm
done recording.

Kvetch, kvetch :-)

Cordially,
Kerry Thompson
