I'm not familiar with Relaunch, but I can't imagine that it will surpass VISE in flexibility. Think ahead - you can use the other VISE features in the future. Sure, it's overkill, but as you say, it's stable - and overkill is good, because all of the overkill may be useful down the road. VISE will do useful things like QuickTime and DirectX checks - easy enough to code in Director, but if it's done on install, it's taken care of. So, my advice is to buy it on the client's visa - you will have license to use the current version perpetually (there is an upgrade fee if you find that you need to get the newer version - seems like an 8 month cycle - to suit your needs, but any installer built with the old version is legal). Should be an easy sell, since one of the apps you're launching is a VISE app. 2 cents, Kurt [To remove yourself from this list, or to change to digest mode, go to http://www.penworks.com/LUJ/lingo-l.cgi To post messages to the list, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Problems, email [EMAIL PROTECTED]) Lingo-L is for learning and helping with programming Lingo.
