Even if that was true, and say you had to update an entire CDs worth 
of files, you could do that overnight.

I've done a lot of hybrid CD-ROMs, and I just have the data on my Mac 
and make the CD with Toast, using Joliet naming and Use Apple 
Extensions. The discs work fine on both Mac and PC.
