Sir-
I certainly intended in NO WAY to imply anything about the Irish people.
I am quite fond of Irish culture, including music and dance, and I'm
dating a woman named Shannon! I was merely making a joke. I think that
was clear to most, but if anyone thought I was making a nationalist or
racist comment, please know that that was not my intention and I
apologise for the misunderstanding. People are people, in my experience.

As for India, my karma is such that I was lucky enough to travel there
for several months, and I love it, and can't wait to go back. Someone
offer me a Lingo job there, especially in Himachal, and I'm yours. i
wish the world were becoming more like India, instead of more like the
States. But that's another, very non-lingo discussion. Anyway, everyone
take a deep breath, we're all brothers and sisters, we're all doing the
best we can. At least that's how we like to look at in in San Francisco.
:-)
